Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation of the power lines, constructed in earlier times and the renewal of the tower structures and concrete foundations damaged by corrosion or by other causes is a year by year increasing activity of Ovit ZRt.'' s Construction Division.

The Department for Design and Technology of Power Lines took an active part in the development and testing renewal technologies. It had a considerable role in the invention of renewal technology of the "korell" power lines, in the selection of the adequate coating system, as well as establishing an effective supervisior system for on-going work.

In the past, Ovit ZRt. completed the renewal of a considerable number of foundations. The renewals of the "Korell" towers and exchange of the insulators and fittings using the company''s own designs, are performed regularly.
