Machines assembly and maintenance activities for nuclear power plants

The Nuclear Power Plant Machines Assembly and Maintenance Department is engaged in power plant system equipment installations, overhauls and maintenance work and also in the maintenance activities of nuclear power plant devices, rotary machines and plumbing fitting. Furthermore, the department serves as welder and pipe fitting contractor for the Company and the MVM Group.

Activities of the Nuclear Power Plant Machines Assembly and Maintenance Department are:

• Building of engineering systems, overhaul and maintenance of equipments for the nuclear power plant
• Welding and pipe fitting in power plant process and non-process systems and equipment for the nuclear power plant.
• Assembly and welding of steel structures.
• Maintenance and repair of primary and secondary circuit devices, rotary machines, Diesel generators, water-intake installations, process aeration, process pump station and water-treating plant, nitrogen station and storage plants, compressor plants and mechanical equipment of the refrigerating plant; and preparation to official tests of these devices, plants and equipment.
• Availability assurance of the reactor and the installation maintenance shops and of equipment necessary for working and relative maintenance work.
• Mechanical maintenance and repair of pipelines, tube racks and shutters, damping, controlling and safety fixture.
• Maintenance and repair of pulsatrons and valves of remote transmitters.
• Apparatus for implementing diagnostic tasks.
• Preparation of pressure vessels for safety inspections and provision of proper conditions for implementing the tests.
