Ovit ZRt.'s manufacture of machines and steel construction, as well as its surface treatment plant was established close to Budapest, at Göd. It can be approached on the main road No.2. (from Budapest approx. 30 min) or on rails. The area of the plant is 11,3 hectare, with 70% solid pavement. The area of the manufacturing hall and other buildings is 11000 square metres. The halls are equipped with cranes of 1,5 - 10 tonnes loading capacity.

The manufacturing of steel constructions, special small machines and tools was begun 30 years ago. Since this time it has been developed continuously and is also being developed today. For the time being now our main profile is the manufacturing of one-off and little series welded and screwed steel constructions, as well as the surface protection of these. Our yearly production is about 3000 tonnes (from which approx. 1000 tonnes for West-European customers). We undertake also the assembly of our constructions on the site.

Besides our main profile we are doing the repairing of special vehicles and hydraulic devices, the manufacturing of special machines and tools, as well as processing and welding of aluminium and aluminium-alloy materials.

The average number of the employees in the plant is 110 people. They are adequate trained and qualified engineers, technicians, welders, mechanics, painters, turners and fitter workmen.

The plant is in possession of a certificate of quality assuring system according DIN EN ISO 9001, an aptitude test certificate according DIN EN 729-2 and a Welding Little Aptitude Certificate. (SLV Munich).
